SoftHub

DMCA / Report a file

SoftHub respects intellectual property rights. We only mirror files ourselves when we believe redistribution is permitted (see how we source software), and everything else links directly to the official publisher — but mistakes can happen. If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorized to act on a copyright owner's behalf, and believe that content hosted on SoftHub infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice.

What to include

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. The exact URL(s) on SoftHub where the material is located.
  3. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Where to send it

Send takedown notices to legal@softhub.example. We aim to review and respond to valid notices within a few business days, removing or disabling access to the reported file while we investigate.

This page is a starting template and should be reviewed by a lawyer before the site launches publicly, including confirming a registered DMCA agent where required.
